The Sharon Park offers hiking routes between green spaces, trees and thick vegetation, and plenty of birds and blossoms. In winter and spring you can enjoy spectacular flowering carpets without traveling far from home.
The landscapes of the Sharon Park are varied and in some of them commemorate the early days of settlement in Hadera, such as the eucalyptus forest, planted here in 1898, in an attempt to dry the swamps. The main area of the park preserves the open landscape of a forest park with remnants of the Tabor oak forest, carob trees and goddesses. This area, located to the south and west of the Hadera forest, constitutes the last remnant of the oaks that once extended throughout the Sharon region. In the park you can enjoy grassy grasslands that develop in the trees after the rains and are decorated with a colorful and beautiful flowering of anemones, irises, cyclamens and many other species, some rare and endangered.
