Modern art painting of our current political environment of attempted assault on democracy. A woman opposed to a king rather than a democratically elected president stands with a sign. Her face is hidden to protect her identity from the attacks of men who would silence her.

I’ve been painting on something for most of my life. It hasn’t always been canvas. It hasn’t always been what you might describe as appropriate (think walls) and it frequently caused a lot of commotion not necessarily complimentary. But I persisted. And experimented with techniques and styles. Made mistakes. Got rejected. Kept painting. I love color and texture and am constantly amazed at the beauty around me. I use acrylics, watercolor, ink, paper, wall compound, clay. Whatever. Nothing is save in my studio. And I bring it all together with digital art and AI. I might be a hippie artist. Or a gypsy artist. But I like that I’m an artist.
