About the Artist

Lolita Ros
Lolita Ros is a painter who lives and works in Spain. Although her formal education was in Economy, art has always been a constant in her life and in 1995 she focused on learning to paint. She spent years painting on her own and created smaller artworks. This process and self-discipline gave her the best education on light and color. She built upon this knowledge and began creating paintings continuing her focus on color. Art has always been a huge part of Lolita life. She has an experience working as an artist for over 25 years. Artist who specializes in painting nature, birds, wildlife, woman and flowers. Lolita utilizes watercolor medium to lure the viewer into a sensual, surreal, and conflicting journey.The natural world is a recurrent theme in her paintings and the inspiration for her choice of color palettes, textures, shapes, and silhouettes. Lolita finds painting to be the best form of meditation. She believes that despite the turmoil of our lives, we can stop, take a breath from it all and simply accept the beauty of this world through art. Her artistic influences range John William Waterhouse, Andrew White, Andrei Schilder, Peder Monsted, Alphonse Mucha etc.
