KODAKEVIN
Vandivier first discovered his love for photography after the Vietnam War and the draft ended just when it was his time to go. Photography turned out to be a good fit for him. He shot his first assignment for National Geographic Society while he was in his third year at The University of Texas studying Photojournalism. Upon graduation he landed his first job at The Dallas Times Herald. Missing the freedom of freelance photography, Kevin left the Herald after a few years picking up where he left off, shooting for National Geographic Society in addition for Life, Newsweek, Texas Monthly and many others. He also began hanging his Fine Art Collections in several Galleries including Angelina Center for the Arts; Alpha Omega Fine Art Photography Museum; Concordia University Fine Arts Gallery and many others. Kevin did take a break from his freelance work for a few years to serve as Photography Editor at Texas Highways Magazine.
