We have three small blueberry bushes in our backyard. When they are coming in, it is hard to keep up with them. My morning oatmeal is really something I look forward to as I include a liberal portion of this fruit.
Paintings and photographs of blueberry bushes, I have noticed, tend to shy away from including any unripe ones, but this is the reality. I think the visual contrast here is a good one and adds interest.

About the Artist
Jeff Atnip Art
I have the most experience with watercolor, but I keep experimenting with other mediums. I love sunlit surfaces, reflected light, shadows and contrasts. I also enjoy depicting weathered textures, trees and old structures.
I have won some awards over the years and been accepted into juried shows, but I have mostly neglected this pursuit in favor of raising a family, working a day job and selling paintings.
