Well it has been some time l've up dated. So l entered the Luxemburg art contest which is one of the art worlds best art gallery. l received the certificate of ART MERIT from them only give to the top artist that enter, so l was very pleased with this great honor. Not bad for a self taught artist living in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The area we live in is great for artist as we are very close to the St Lawrence River and the Great Lakes. l'm a wildlife artist but l also do landscapes and pets. l started into art about 25 to 30 years ago. But l must add l've always done art in school l was averaging 96 -98% all the time. Art came easy but one must remember the time l grew up and went through school in the 1960's, well art was never taken seriously. Not at all like today. l started in Acrylic then into oil and then into Pastels. The change in medium was in the search for more and more greater detailing, this lead me to the pastels which gives the artist in my opinion an overall great control. Over the years l've become more popular and have sold to some collectors in both CANADA and the US. l sell both prints and original pieces. l found Artpal and discover with their system l don't need to worry about prints. They take the worry out of it and do my printing for my collectors, but l can also print for buyers getting in touch to me direct.. Original Pieces are shipped by me with Express Canada post and very well protected, never had a problem. And yes as time permits l do pet portraits l require a top photo or 2 to work from. l've done several top pieces for top cat and dog breeders in Canada. All one needs to do, is to open their eyes to see the beauty in front of them. l hope you enjoy my work at attempting to catching some of Mother Nature's beauty. l'm a great lover of Mother Nature and all her wonders. l try to capture the beauty of all her great Masterpieces in my art. There is so much beauty in the world all one needs to do is open one's eyes. Being an artist we see the beauty in everything around us. l hope l capture your eyes for at least a few minutes. And perhaps, just perhaps l'll install a greater love and respect for all of the beauty in the world. We see so much pain these days l think it's time we all enjoy what is beautiful in our world, don't you agree?
