About the Artist

Paintings by John Lautermilch
John Lautermilch is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. His interest in art began in early childhood, and by the age of eight, he began painting. John won his first art show while still in elementary school, and by the time he was in high school, his art was being displayed and sold in local restaurants.

After high school, John attended the School of Fine Arts at Washington University on a scholarship. The year he graduated, his work was accepted by the St. Louis Art Museum for exhibit in their annual show.

Throughout his career, John has won numerous awards and prizes in various art shows. He has also done many commissioned works both for individual collectors and institutions, including a series of paintings for a Lutheran organization in St. Louis. He held an exhibit of water lily paintings at the Missouri Botanical Garden and is now represented at Componere Art Gallery in St. Louis.

Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the color, light patterns, and variety found in nature–particularly with respect to water lilies. One can spend a life time and never come close to capturing the beauty and tranquility found in the natural world. I feel blessed to have the time to look so deeply into the life around me and hope to share that feeling with you through my paintings.

Daft Moose

 Description

A silly pink moose or elk following a dangling carrot.

Mad Cow

This original acrylic painting shows a mad cow in a fun way. She may just be happy to be left out of the barn. It is in a cubist style, with bright, bold colors and shading.

About the Artist

Bruce Bodden
I was a Fine Arts Major at UW-Oshkosh, where I had a double emphasis: Drawing and Applied Design. The drawings that I did were mostly charcoals or oil pastels. Applied or Functional Design was building wooden furniture. I enjoyed Ceramics as well. My pots and vases that I threw on the wheel looked good and were nicely glazed, but they were very fat at the bottom...the professor said that the cats couldn't tip them over. I wanted to major in something that I could do after school anyway, and you don't need much equipment for drawing.

After college I worked in the furniture restoration field, so I still had access to a woodworking shop. I currently work in an antique store in the restoration department, and so I still have access to more tools than I can have at home.

I like to do oil pastels, acrylic paintings, furniture and marquetry. And lately, all those things are starting to combine together in the same piece. Since I have the skills to do woodworking, I prefer to make all of my frames for my work, sometimes I even enjoy making frames more than the artwork itself.

I did art shows, mostly in Wisconsin, for nine years, but stopped when I started my current job. However, I did an art show this summer, and plan on doing more in future years. I never stopped making my art, as it is my main recreation outside of work.

Calico Cat Portrait Watercolor

This stunning watercolor painting of a Calico cat is a true testament to the power of artificial intelligence in the world of art. With lifelike textures and exquisite attention to detail, the painting captures the grace and beauty of these beloved feline companions, making it a true masterpiece.

Greetings and Welcome to the SUNDBERG – REGELMAN GALLERY!

This GALLERY is the result of two ARTIST's lifetimes. Those were my parents;
CARL SUNDBERG and WILDA REGELMAN. Once they were married back in 1950 she went by WILDA SUNDBERG. They painted their entire lives! They were dedicated artists and both were in National Art Shows winning prizes, doing commissions, and selling their art. WILDA was a Watercolorist and CARL was a Painter and Graphic Designer who worked with Porcelain Enamel on Steel and screen printed images.

This SUNDBERG – REGELMAN GALLERY is comprised exclusively of their art that remained in their possession at their home in ERIE, PA. I went thru their collection to photograph the art and record all the attributes. They were really bad on dating their art and I presume that is because many art shows require the art be within the last year and from recent production. Ironically they never submitted older artwork anyway and that was likely a retained habit from their art school days. Anyway … WILDA’s collection was over 700 works

Canadian Wildlife artist Lynn Lachapelle Seguin, in honor of my mom who died a few months ago l use my maiden name more often in respect of her, with my art. Well it has been some time l've up dated. So l entered the Luxemburg art contest which is one of the art worlds best art gallery. l received the certificate of ART MERIT from them only give to the top artist that enter, so l was very pleased with this great honor. Not bad for a self taught artist living in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The area we live in is great for artist as we are very close to the St Lawrence River and the Great Lakes. l'm a wildlife artist but l also do landscapes and pets. l started into art about 25 to 30 years ago. But l must add l've always done art in school l was averaging 96 -98% all the time. Art came easy but one must remember the time l grew up and went through school in the 1960's, well art was never taken seriously. Not at all like today. l started in Acrylic then into oil and then into Pastels. The change in medium was in the search for more and more greater detailing, this lead me to the pastels which gives the artist in my opinion an overall great control. Over the years l've become more popular and have sold to some collectors in both CANADA and the US. l sell both prints and original pieces. l found Artpal and discover with their system l don't need to worry about prints. They take the worry out of it and do my printing for my collectors, but l can also print for buyers getting in touch to me direct.. Original Pieces are shipped by me with Express Canada post and very well protected, never had a problem. And yes as time permits l do pet portraits l require a top photo or 2 to work from. l've done several top pieces for top cat and dog breeders in Canada. Contact me at benlynn20012000@yahoo.ca to inquire about prices. l also do larger commission pieces of wildlife or pets inquire as well. l hope you enjoy my art and let me know at the email address supplied. In your subject line state Dreamz-Art. l also have a section of photos. Many will find these interesting as many of my art pieces come out of these photos. My husband Ben is the photographer. And yes most are from Mother Nature's Masterpieces as she is the true Master Artist. l love nature and all the arrays of life within it. All one needs to do, is to open their eyes to see the beauty in front of them. l hope you enjoy my work at attempting to catching some of Mother Nature's beauty. l'm a great lover of Mother Nature and all her wonders. l try to capture the beauty of all her great Masterpieces in my art. There is so much beauty in the world all one needs to do is open one's eyes. Being an artist we see the beauty in everything around us. l hope l capture your eyes for at least a few minutes. And perhaps, just perhaps l'll install a greater love and respect for all of the beauty in the world. We see so much pain these days l think it's time we all enjoy what is beautiful in our world, don't you agree?

My body of work includes painting with both watercolours and acrylics. I am also a writer. Poetry was my first love creatively, which lead to writing fiction and non-fiction but something magical happened when I picked up a paintbrush. There is an intimacy staring at the lights and shadows connecting with my subjects and translating that onto canvas. The eyes, whether human or animal project their inner light. A painting can capture emotion purely and honestly in a way that words fail to deliver. It is an intimate experience staring at my subjects and translating what I see and feel from them with my paintbrush. Art is all about making you feel and it only takes a few moments to elicit a reaction if you look into the eyes of my subjects. Each person will see and feel something different and that is the beauty of art. I use acrylic paint on acrylic paper with a linen finish, 2-dimensional art. Art for me is meditation.

There is a phrase I learned in yoga - The light in me sees, bows to, honors, reflects, knows that same light that shines in you. I look forward to sharing this work and this light.
