About the Artist

Brian Kerls Photography
Exploring with camera in hand, I seek to capture striking and intriguing elements of the natural or man-made landscape. Using light, moment, composition, and color to create emotionally powerful scenes, I hope to develop a deep connection with the viewer that allows them to feel as if they were experiencing these picturesque, and often remote, places in person. I hope the photographs you see here convey at least a small sense of the majesty and wonder of these unique and special locations and that you enjoy viewing these images as much as I did creating them.

Photography has long been a favorite past time of mine and is a journey that began in earnest during a two-week road trip through California during college. Using a small, 35mm, “point and shoot” film camera I was able to capture some of my first, quality landscape and mountain photos and I have been hooked ever since. Over the years cameras and equipment have come and gone, but my aim has remained the same – to capture with a still, two-dimensional image the natural and man-made beauty that is all around us, but often overlooked.

Featured in such magazines as Landscape Photography, Outdoor Photographer, and Practical Photography, my photography primarily focuses on my observations of the landscape – both natural and man-made. While I have traveled worldwide, the spectacular and diverse landscapes of the western United States are some of my favorite locations due to their seemingly endless subjects and creative possibilities in varying seasons and conditions. Living in Colorado, many of my photos are of scenic Rocky Mountain landscapes or wildlife that I have enjoyed taking during various back country adventures – hiking a remote mountain peak, exploring an alpine meadow or waterfall, or driving a quiet rural road – always with camera in hand.

As an avid adventurer and outdoor enthusiast, I pursue photography for the pure fun of it and enjoy the happiness, creativity, challenge, and exposure to the natural and man-made world that it provides me in return. My camera has become and essential element while on remote mountain hikes, exploring cities and towns, or when traveling the country or around the world. When I shoot, I seek to capture interesting and striking elements of the natural or man-made world in such a way that the viewer has an emotional connection to the photograph and is able to escape from their daily routine and feel as if they were experiencing these awe-inspiring moments and places in person.

Through my photography I endeavor to capture brief moments from the beautiful places I travel and I hope at least a small sense of their wonder comes through in the Colorado landscape photos and images from across the western United States you see here. For me, photography is a never-ending journey of exploration, education, challenge, creativity, and fun – and one which I invite you to share with me.

About the Artist

I prefer my painting to be a development of ideas rather than static images and often use different styles to achieve this. The life that goes on around me, the places I’ve been, or the times I’ve lived through are reflected in my paintings, and my work has always helped me refine self awareness, and provided an outlet for expression

SERENITY

 Description

“At sea, life is different. Time doesn’t move from hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents and winds, plan by the tides, and follow the sun.” – Sandy Gringas

“There is nothing like lying flat on your back on the deck, alone except for the helmsman aft at the wheel, silence except for the lapping of the sea against the side of the ship. At that time you can be equal to Ulysses and brother to him.”
– Errol Flynn

About the Artist
Rezvaya.art
Born in 1943 in Alma-Ata, USSR.
My mother - Klaudia Osheva, a professional artist, hence from my early years I got grips of what a magic of creativity means.
Graduated from the University, specialising in German-Roman philology. But extensive travel, meeting people and exploration of nature were provoking me to reflect it with the means of fine art. So I got the second education - Odessa College of Arts "Grekovka". Started to exhibit while studying at the college. It was followed by numerous local, nationwide, All-Soviet Union and international exhibitions. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1986.
Living and working in the UK since 1998***.
My creative credo: any work of art should charge the viewer with positive energy - aesthetic, intellectual, emotional. Touch with any art should enrich the viewer, "to add, not to subtract". This on my opinion is its main task.
Preferred media - oil on canvas. Preferred genre - figurative art, compositions of "more than one approach". Figurative compositions demand knowledge of the whole spectre of genres - portraits, landscapes, still-life, - only then your fantasy is not restricted by any inner barriers. I worked in graphics, ceramics, murals and as a theatrical designer when I was invited as an art-director and costume designer for several productions of Odessa Drama Theatre.
Paintings - in the private collections in dozens of countries of the World, from Japan and Australia to Europe and both coasts of the USA, including two portraits at the collection of the Royal Geographical Society, London.

Throughout his career, John has won numerous awards and prizes in various art shows. He has also done many commissioned works both for individual collectors and institutions, including a series of paintings for a Lutheran organization in St. Louis. He held an exhibit of water lily paintings at the Missouri Botanical Garden and is now represented at Componere Art Gallery in St. Louis.

Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the color, light patterns, and variety found in nature–particularly with respect to water lilies. One can spend a life time and never come close to capturing the beauty and tranquility found in the natural world. I feel blessed to have the time to look so deeply into the life around me and hope to share that feeling with you through my paintings.

AN OCEAN RACE

Description

There's nothing more liberating and exhilarating than living life on the sea waves.
Passionate people live in their own orbits. At some points, they intersect with the orbits of routine life but again return to their worlds to which they belong and where they really LIVE. Yachting is a world of space, waves, sun and wind, a world of sometimes harsh and unforgiving elements, a world of exciting delight, movement, speed, distant horizons, and freedom.

A RAY OF SUNSHINE

Description

What is the painting about? Well, it's obviously about sails and speed, storm, waves and wind, and a sudden ray of sunshine after the rain...
But isn't it similar to our life, and for us a reminder that though life is a mixture of sunshine and rain, teardrops and laughter, pleasure and pain, there is never a cloud that the sun can’t shine through?

Eco-Friendly Earth in Hands

 Description

This artwork titled "Eco-Friendly Earth in Hands" beautifully symbolizes sustainability and our connection to the environment. The image depicts a globe made from lush green foliage with a tree sprouting from the top, resting in the gentle embrace of two hands. The globe prominently shows Australia, surrounded by the vast Pacific and Indian Oceans. The contrast between the vibrant green earth and the soft, blurred background emphasizes the importance of preserving our planet's natural beauty. The light shines softly from behind, creating a glowing effect that adds to the warmth and serenity of the piece. This visually striking representation of nature's balance serves as a reminder of the responsibility we hold in protecting the environment.

Perfect for home or office decor, this artwork invites contemplation and inspires eco-consciousness, making it an ideal piece for anyone passionate about sustainability and the future of our planet.

About the Artist
Bill Bailey
Thanks for stopping by. Art has always been a meaningful part of my life, and now in my retirement, it offers me a great way to channel my creativity and passion. It's fun creating artwork that celebrate the flora and fauna of Australia.

As you browse, I hope you discover something that resonates with you. From time to time, I also like to add a touch of humor just to keep things lighthearted.

ArtPal feels like a virtual art fair, where people can casually explore the talents of various artists. When someone pauses at my ‘booth’ and decides to purchase a piece, I’m often unsure who benefits more — the customer, who takes home something that speaks to them on a personal level, or me, knowing my art is making a meaningful connection.

Most of these designs are available on matte canvas on our website - https://rollindownunder.com

Ominous Shelf Cloud

 Description

A woman in a red dress stands on a beach with her arms outstretched, facing an approaching storm with massive, swirling clouds. The dramatic sky contrasts with the calmness of the waves crashing on the shore

About the Artist
MARY SNYDER FINE ART
My interest in art began as a child under the influence of my mother. She was an artist that created artwork for major department stores in New York City such as Sears, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s to name a few. Most of her artwork was for the fashion industry, used for displays and advertising. I soon found myself drawing and painting pictures all the time. Later in life I met John, now my husband, who introduced me to photography. I was quick to learn how to use different cameras and lenses and soon was developing my own film and making prints in our dark room. I was able to add to my skills by studying with The New York Institute of Photography. My artistic hobbies had to take a back seat since I became too busy raising a family. After our daughter grew up and was on her own, we moved to the Florida Gulf Coast where I once again actively started pursuing my love for art. Finally, after numerous suggestions from people that own my artwork, I have made it available to view and purchase via this website. marysnyderfineart.com

Eyecentennial

 Description

The EyeCentennial project is an exploration of our relationship to light and our response to recognizable themes in nature. I prefer my painting to be a development of ideas rather than static images and often use different styles to achieve this. The life that goes on around me, the places I’ve been, or the times I’ve lived through are reflected in my paintings, and my work has always helped me refine self awareness, and provided an outlet for expression

Future Tense

Description

sleek, humanoid hologram made of shifting, translucent layers of light in soft blues and silvers, with glowing circuitry that pulses as she processes information. Somewhere in the maybe not-so-distant future, we will meld with technology to create an entirely new kind of human/cyborg beings, with emotions blending with logic.

About the Artist
Aurora's AI World
~
I have been creating AI Artwork for just under two years. I've finally reached a point where I feel I have something worthy of offering for sale. My college major was corporate architectural interior design with a minor in marketing and I have owned my own design firm for the last ten years. However, the AI component in my CAD programs got me interested in creating art as well as seeing where AI might take us next.

I'm originally from San Francisco, CA but have been living in Connecticut for the last 15 years. To date, I have over 7,000 published images and 10,000 followers on Facebook for my art page, Aurora's AI World, which has only existed since Valentine's Day 2024.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my work, whether you order something or not. My greatest pleasure is in hearing people tell me what they love about it!
