About the Artist
Paintings by John Lautermilch
John Lautermilch is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. His interest in art began in early childhood, and by the age of eight, he began painting. John won his first art show while still in elementary school, and by the time he was in high school, his art was being displayed and sold in local restaurants.

After high school, John attended the School of Fine Arts at Washington University on a scholarship. The year he graduated, his work was accepted by the St. Louis Art Museum for exhibit in their annual show.

Throughout his career, John has won numerous awards and prizes in various art shows. He has also done many commissioned works both for individual collectors and institutions, including a series of paintings for a Lutheran organization in St. Louis. He held an exhibit of water lily paintings at the Missouri Botanical Garden and is now represented at Componere Art Gallery in St. Louis.

Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the color, light patterns, and variety found in nature–particularly with respect to water lilies. One can spend a life time and never come close to capturing the beauty and tranquility found in the natural world. I feel blessed to have the time to look so deeply into the life around me and hope to share that feeling with you through my paintings.

About the Artist
Avanesova Elena AVA
About me
My name is Elena Avanesova. I am a master of design and a psychologist with many years of experience, I use art therapy in my work, I am the author of the metaphorical cards “The Hero’s Path” and “Elemental Resource”, in which my creative potential first manifested itself.

These two deeply beloved professions and the place where I live - the picturesque island of Mallorca - are closely intertwined in my life and served as a source of inspiration for creating paintings.

The topic of my master's thesis in design was "Design of decorative panels in a traditional Mallorcan interior." Since then, I can’t stop developing more and more decorative panels and paintings for various interiors, made in different techniques.

The psychologist's many years of experience have also influenced the creation of paintings that will decorate not only your space, but will also have a beneficial effect on your emotional state, bringing bright colors and harmony into your life, becoming a source of inspiration and an inexhaustible resource.

Each painting has its own story and meaning, combines impressionism, abstraction, modern art and radiates a special energy.

I moved to Mallorca from Kyiv. When the war began in Ukraine, I was under great stress and my state, if translated into the language of art, was similar to the “Black Square”, where there is no place for joy and only hopeless darkness, from which there seemed to be no way out.

But the amazing island of Mallorca began to heal me with its natural harmony and beauty. Gradually, the colors of life began to appear in my “Black Square”, which I began to transfer to the paintings. I felt how this extraordinary island can bring life back and fill it with bright colors even in the darkest times. This is how the “Majorkatherapy” collection was born.

I hope that when you hang a painting from this collection in your home, it will fill you with endless resources and an “island” will appear in your home that will transport you to a world of beauty.

I apply paint to canvas only outdoors - in the garden or on the seashore. Therefore, each brushstroke is imbued with the natural healing resource of Mallorca, the sea and the wind, which you can have with your painting.

My paintings are:
-always only Mallorca
-always a touch of “mar y viento” (sea and wind)

All paintings are created digitally and then transferred to canvas.
